Why I founded Kimane Cosmetics and Skincare
As a skincare professional, therapist, esthetician, skin care expert, and clinician for more than 20 years, it's only natural and a perfect fit to formulate my makeup and skincare line. I'm also a licensed massage therapist, cosmetologist, makeup artist, nail technician, educator and instructor.
I have seen, feel, touch and treated every skin types and conditions imaginable. I'm talking about teen acne, melasma, eczema, rosacea, adult and hormonal acne, hyperpigmentation, anti-aging for fine lines and wrinkles, and let's not forget the healthy skin for maintenance. My passion for skin care and beauty led me to develop Kimane, a professional and high quality botanical and active skin care and makeup line.
I was already fascinated with the skin growing up and the importance of skin care as a flight attendant with Cayman Airways for 15 years. The skin is our largest organ, it reveals our health, our eating habits, lifestyle, and even our moods. As I became more involved in learning about the complexities of our largest organ, I naturally gravitated toward examining various skin-care and anti-aging treatments. The more I learned, the more I realized only those products that came closest to our own cellular structure could deliver real results.
As a working skin care professional and treating skin daily, I wanted to create a beauty and skincare products with the aim to solve skin problems from redness and irritation, to lack of skin tone, deep lines and wrinkles.
Our formulas were created with one purpose: to be the best. We include the finest quality, highest performing ingredients in the highest concentrations that yield the desired results. We began our development process with a focus on high concentrations of standardized botanical extracts backed by clinical testing. Over time we included the latest technologies that have enhanced the efficacy of our formulas, e.g. peptides, Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid.
Kimane Cosmetics and Skincare strive to be a leader in the skincare and beauty industry, studying and designing formulas with botanical extracts and new technology specialty ingredients. Our line of products uses natural ingredients and is formulated using current trends in technology.
